This Privacy Policy describes how Vista Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"), with registered address at 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, collects, uses, stores, transfers and discloses personal data from our Users ("you", "your") in connection with our website and web application (the "Service").

3. THIRD PARTIES THAT PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

We may share your personal data with the following categories of third parties (data processors) in order to provide and improve the Service:

  • Hosting providers: For storing data and operating the Service (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Payment processors: For securely processing your payments (e.g. Stripe).
  • Analytics tools: For analyzing user behavior and improving the Service (Google Analytics, PostHog).
  • Marketing and Advertising partners: For showing ads and measuring marketing effectiveness (Google Ads, Facebook Ads). These partners may collect data via their own SDKs or pixels based on your consent.

  • Psychics (if applicable as independents): If psychics operate as independent contractors, limited, necessary data may be shared to enable the chat feature under a data processing agreement.

When we transfer data to countries outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that there is a valid transfer basis, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an adequacy decision (e.g. for the United Kingdom).

4. RETENTION PERIOD FOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND SECURITY

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (e.g. bookkeeping laws) and resolve disputes.

In general, we retain your data for as long as you have an active account with us, and for a reasonable period thereafter (e.g. up to 24 months after inactivity) to enable reactivation or to handle any follow-up questions, unless the law requires a longer period.

We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. This includes encryption, access controls and pseudonymization where applicable. However, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)

As a data subject in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right to withdraw consent: If processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before the withdrawal.

6. YOUR U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS (CALIFORNIA / CCPA & CPRA)

This section applies to residents of California and supplements the information above. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"). Categories of personal information we collect and why

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA). For full details and examples, see Section 1 above.

  • Identifiers: e.g. name/nickname, email address, IP address, and online identifiers. Purpose: creating and managing your account, delivering purchased products, communication, and support.
  • Commercial information: e.g. subscriptions, PDFs and credits purchased, payment method type and last 4 digits, and payment dates. Purpose: processing payments and delivering the Service.
  • Internet or network activity: e.g. pages visited, features used, clicks, and session duration. Purpose: operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Service.
  • Geolocation data: approximate location (country/region) derived from your IP address. Purpose: functionality, analytics, and security.
  • Profile and inference data: e.g. date, time and place of birth, gender, marital status, goals, and questionnaire answers used to generate horoscopes and personalize your experience. Purpose: delivering and personalizing the Service.
  • Customer records and communications: e.g. the content of messages you send to support. Purpose: handling support inquiries and improving the Service.

We collect this information from you directly, automatically through your use of the Service, and from service providers such as our payment, analytics, and advertising partners. We retain each category for the periods described in Section 4. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.

Your California rights

  • Right to know / access: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete: You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law (for example, to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or detect and prevent fraud).
  • Right to correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: You have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of certain advertising and analytics cookies and similar technologies (see Section 2) may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA because information may be disclosed to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, you can: (1) adjust your choices in our cookie banner/settings; (2) enable a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), in your browser, which we will honor where required; or (3) email us at support@theastroverse.app with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."

How to submit a request

To exercise your right to know, delete, or correct, email us at support@theastroverse.app. Please include enough information for us to verify your identity and locate your data (for example, the email address associated with your account) and describe your request. We will not fulfill a request until we have verified your identity, and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Authorized agents: You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide written, signed permission demonstrating that you authorized them to act for you, and we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us or to confirm that you provided the agent permission.

Other U.S. state residents: This section is primarily directed at California residents. If you are a resident of another U.S. state that has enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, or Oregon), you may have similar rights, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information. 7. AGE RESTRICTIONS

The Service is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 18 years of age without valid consent, we will take steps to delete this information.
